India to supply BrahMos, Astra missile systems to Indonesia

India will supply the BrahMos cruise missile system and the Astra air-to-air missile to Indonesia, an Indian government official said. The announcement comes during Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Indonesia, his first trip to the country since 2023. During the visit, India signed BrahMos, Astra missile deal as part of maritime safety and security cooperation and inked minerals and technologies agreement.
