The police apprehended two suspects, identified as 30-year-old Thalle Nagaraju and 39-year-old Nagula Narayana (alias Kiran). Both individuals are natives of the Alluri Sitarama Raju district in Andhra Pradesh. The duo was intercepted while traveling on a motorcycle (registration number AP 39 RV 6425) near Gowrelly Road, heading towards Hyderabad.

The Modus Operandi

During the tactical vehicle check at Gowrelly X Road, police discovered seven transparent packets in each of the suspects' bags, containing a black-colored substance. Upon interrogation, the suspects revealed a sophisticated supply chain. They alleged that a man named Tamara Gopal, hailing from the Malkangiri district of Odisha, had supplied the consignment. The peddlers were reportedly promised ₹1 lakh each to deliver the drugs from the Odisha border to the heart of Hyderabad.
