The Indian National Trust for Art and Cultural Heritage (INTACH), Madurai Chapter, conducted a comprehensive quiz competition on Monday, August 31, at the APT Duraisamy School in Anupanadi, Madurai. The event served as a platform for young minds to explore the depths of India's diverse cultural landscape.

According to the official press release, the event saw an enthusiastic response with 75 students from 12 local schools registering for the event. To promote teamwork and collaborative learning, students were paired into 36 teams of two, creating a highly competitive yet educational atmosphere.

The competition was meticulously structured into three rounds. The first round tested the participants' knowledge of India’s broad heritage, including history, crafts, art, wildlife, and architecture. The top four teams from this stage advanced to the second round—an audio-based quiz specifically focused on the state of Tamil Nadu, covering topics such as regional cuisine, landmass, traditional martial arts, archaeological sites, and state symbols.
