Prime Minister Narendra Modi held talks with Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto in Jakarta, discussing deepening cooperation in defence, electoral technology, minerals and maritime connectivity between the two nations. India has decided to support the development of Indonesia-specific Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs), marking a significant step in electoral technology cooperation between the two nations. This move is expected to further strengthen defence cooperation between New Delhi and Jakarta.
