Shifting focus, the CM reflected on Uttar Pradesh’s employment landscape before 2017, describing it as plagued by nepotism, lack of transparent recruitment, and limited youth opportunities. He highlighted that, over the past nine years, the government has created more than nine lakh government jobs through a transparent process and linked over 3.25 crore youths and artisans with employment or self‑employment avenues.
