During a preparatory meeting, Atul emphasized that Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar would visit on 16 and 17 September to participate in the celebrations and inaugurate the main programme. Atul also instructed various departments to set up 11 thematic tableaux such as ‘Akshara Aavishkara’, ‘Arogya Aavishkara’, ‘Udyoga Aavishkara’, and ‘Aranya Aavishkara’. These displays will be positioned near Appana Kere, Ganapathi Kere, the fort, and the Jatra Maidan.

A programme to distribute various government benefits was also proposed. The Tourism Department was tasked with setting up digital information and exhibition stalls for two days, highlighting the history, art, literature, culture, and tourism attractions of the seven districts of Kalyana Karnataka.
