Haryana’s Education Minister Mahipal Dhanda announced on Monday that no unauthorised person will be allowed inside state government schools. Speaking to reporters in Hansi, he described schools as a “national heritage” and warned that “the safety of students cannot be compromised for political publicity.”

The statement comes after Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) activists visited 16‑17 schools across Jhajjar, Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri and Fatehabad districts, alleging deficiencies in infrastructure, cleanliness, teacher availability and midday‑meal quality.

Dhanda emphasized that any visitor must coordinate with the village sarpanch and the school’s Management Committee. “The sarpanch, elected panchayat members and the SMC are present in every school. Anyone entering must be accompanied by them,” he said, adding that responsibility will be assigned if disturbances occur during such visits.

He urged citizens with genuine complaints to first approach the sarpanch or other responsible authorities, rather than staging unsupervised protests. The move aims to reinforce transparency and protect students from being used as political props.
