Hyderabad Traffic Police on Tuesday inspected flyover works on Chanchalguda to IS Sadan stretch. The inspection was carried out by senior police officers and officials from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) to review traffic management measures and minimize inconvenience to commuters. The flyover works were started in June this year and the inspection was carried out to review the progress of the works. During the inspection, officials reviewed the implementation of traffic diversion plans along the construction corridor, the provision of safe U-turns at required locations and the removal of unnecessary or hazardous U-turns. They also assessed coordination between the Traffic Police and GHMC engineering teams to ensure the works progress with minimal disruption to vehicular movement. Officials issued on-the-spot instructions to improve traffic management and enhance commuter safety during the ongoing construction works.
