In a decisive operation on Thursday, the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) caught Anandeshi Raghavender, an outsourcing employee at the Telangana Secretariat, and Medi Vinod, a senior assistant at the Telangana State Industrial Development Corporation (TSIDC) office, red-handed while accepting a bribe of ₹1 lakh.

The corruption was linked to the processing of medical reimbursement claims under the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) scheme. The accused had allegedly demanded the money to facilitate the issuance of a cheque for a sanctioned amount of ₹2 lakh and to expedite the remaining reimbursement process for the complainant.
