The inauguration of the first-of-its-kind indigenous pilot plant for processing bituminous coal fly ash was performed by NALCO Chairman and Managing Director, Brijendra Pratap Singh, at the NALCO Research and Technology Centre (NRTC) in Bhubaneswar. This facility, with a capacity of 50 kg per day, is the result of strategic collaboration between CSIR-IMMT, KIIT University, and the Ministry of Mines.
