At a state‑level workshop titled “Mana Ooru – Mana Jenda” held at the BJP state office in Vijayawada, party president P.V.N. Madhav urged cadres to fortify the party’s grassroots network and aim for representation in every village. Madhav noted that the BJP has become India’s largest political party by forming governments in 21 states. He credited this achievement to a robust organisational model and governance practices that have set a benchmark for rival parties. He pointed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ascent from a party worker to the nation’s leader as proof of the BJP’s culture of rewarding dedication and hard work. “Sustained development and good governance, not short‑term political expediency, win people’s confidence,” Madhav asserted. He cited flagship central schemes such as the Swachh Bharat Mission, Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana, rural infrastructure projects, household drinking water supply, maternal‑child welfare initiatives, and financial assistance to local bodies as hallmarks of development‑oriented governance.

Commitment to Antyodaya

Emphasising the Antyodaya principle, Madhav declared that the benefits of development must reach the last person in society. He called on cadres to take central welfare initiatives to every household and to hoist the BJP flag in every village by expanding the party’s organisational base and strengthening public outreach.

Marking one year since assuming the state presidency, Madhav was felicitated by senior leaders and released a commemorative souvenir chronicling the party’s activities over the past year.
