Jan Suraj’s founder, political strategist Prashant Kishor, has declared his intention to contest the Bankipur seat, marking his first foray into electoral politics. At a public rally in Sheohar, Kishor emphasized his choice of a “BJP fortress” over a “politically safe constituency,” arguing that Bihar’s voters must break free from caste‑ and religion‑based voting patterns.
