In an informal media interaction at the party’s central office near Mangalagiri, Naidu described the party’s mindset as “criminal” and its politics as “destructive” to the state’s interests.

Naidu highlighted several grievances: senior IAS officers were scapegoated in corruption scandals linked to former Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy and his family, and numerous industries suffered during the YSRCP tenure. He warned that while the present coalition government is working tirelessly to attract investment, YSRCP leaders continue to “threaten investors,” creating an atmosphere of uncertainty.

Key Infrastructure Initiatives Under the Current Government

The chief minister cited the near‑completion of Bhogapuram International Airport and the advanced stages of the Polavaram and Veligonda water projects as evidence of the government’s commitment to growth. He also noted that the previous YSRCP administration misused Section 22‑A to encroach on farmers’ lands, depriving them of agricultural loans—a policy now being reversed to protect agrarian interests.

Digital Safeguards and Social Responsibility

Addressing rising concerns over fake news and online harassment, Naidu announced the formation of a dedicated task force aimed at curbing defamatory content, especially attacks targeting women. He emphasized that those responsible for spreading misinformation will face stringent penalties.

Land Reclamation and Mining Controversies

Regarding the reclamation of land allocated to Brahmani Steels Limited, Naidu alleged that the greed of a single individual led to a loss of mineral wealth worth “hundreds of crores.” He accused the previous regime of illegal mining under the pretext of establishing a steel plant in Kadapa district and pointed out that the Obulapuram mining dispute remains unresolved.
