India on Sunday strongly condemned the attack on the merchant vessel GFS Galaxy, which was hit by a warning shot fired by Iranian forces near the coast of Oman. The commercial vessel was carrying 11 Indian seafarers at the time of the incident. The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) issued a statement outlining India's immediate response to the crisis. "We condemn the attack on the commercial vessel GFS Galaxy off the coast of Oman. We thank the Omani authorities for their support," the MEA spokesperson said. The Indian diplomatic mission in Muscat is maintaining constant contact with local maritime security forces to trace the missing Indian national.
